The Nordic Circular Hotspot Partnership Programme was launched in early 2021. Now, at the start of 2023, we are nearing 100 Partners who are taking part in NCH activities in different ways from hosting sessions at the annual Nordic Circular Summit to attending our monthly partner meetings and seasonal events and working in the Transition Groups to advance circularity in their own sectors or chosen topics.
We are delighted to have so many great Nordic companies who are ready to work for the circular transition in the region! In a report funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers, the lack of Nordic collaboration was recently identified as one of the key barriers to Nordic leadership within the circular economy.
Since its conceptualisation, Nordic Circular Hotspot has driven to bring together Nordic businesses, organisations and institutions. And here is how we do it!
Who is the Partner Programme for?
The Nordic Circular Hotspot Partnership Programme is a collaboration programme designed for a strategic, systematic and efficient circular market transition to secure sustainable development in the Nordics. To achieve this, we need collaboration across both borders and sectors.
For this reason, the Partner Programme is created for private and public industries, market segments and economic sectors, corporations, research institutions, companies, SMEs, NGOs and public authorities — and their representatives. In essence, for anyone who wants to work on forwarding the circular transition in the Nordics.
